At this point, we’re going to assume that you have already opened Photoshop and uploaded your logo. If not, do these two things first.

Step 1: Change the Color Mode

The first thing you’ll need to do when wondering how to change the color of a logo in Photoshop for PNG is to change the color mode.

Go to the Menu, click on Image, then Mode, then Color RGB.

Step 2: Have the Layers Palette on the Screen

If the Layers Palette isn’t already open on your screen, you’ll need to go to Windows, then click on Layers to open it.

This is found on the bottom of the Layers Palette screen.
