If you’re absolutely positive that you don’t want to use Amazon anymore, continue to step two to learn how to delete amazon account on mobile phones.
2. Close any open orders.
Open orders are any orders that have yet to be completed. If you have any items that haven’t been delivered yet, either cancel the order, or wait for the item to arrive. Once that happens, come back to this guide to learn how to delete Amazon account on iPhone or Android.

3. Open your phone's browser.
You’ll need to use whatever you typically use to navigate the internet in order to complete this process. Open up your phone’s browser, and open a new tab or window within it.

4. Navigate to Amazon.com and sign in.
Go to Amazon’s website. Make sure that you’re logged in to the account you want to close.
5. Scroll to the bottom.
At the bottom of the page, you should see a blue-gray footer menu with several links and headings, including “Get to Know Us,” “Make Money with Us,” “Amazon Payment Products,” and “Let Us Help You.”

6. Click on "Help."
The very last link under “Let Us Help You,” all the way to the right, should be “Help.” Click on it. This will take you to their customer service portal. You’ll be presented with a bunch of buttons with different options.
7. Click on "Something Else."
None of the options are really what you need here, so just click on “Something Else,” the button with the question mark icon.

8. Click on "Need More Help?"
After clicking on “Something Else,” you’ll be presented with a list of recommended help topics. None of these deal with closing your account, however. Instead, click on “Need More Help?” This should be the last option in the list of recommended help topics.

9. Click on "Contact Us."
After clicking on “Need More Help?” you should see a sidebar menu open up. This shows you several options, which also don’t deal with closing your account. Ignore them and click on “Contact Us.”
Here’s where things get a little more confusing.

10. Choose "Prime or Something else."
You’ll be taken to a help wizard, which will guide you through the contacting process. The first question it asks is, “What can we help you with?” Unfortunately, none of the options presented here deal with account closures either.
You might be about to tear your hair out, asking “why is it so hard to close an Amazon account?!” Stick with this process — you’ll get there!
Choose “Prime or Something else.” This is worded to be intentionally confusing. It makes it sound like the “Something else” should be Amazon Prime-related, but it doesn’t have to be. It means exactly what it says: Something else. Since none of the options Amazon shows you allow you to easily delete your account, you need “Something else.”
11. Choose the right options from the drop-down list.
After choosing “Prime or Something else,” you’ll be taken to the next part of the help wizard, titled “Tell us more about your issue.”
For “Select an issue,” choose “Account settings.” For “Select issue details,” choose “Delete account.”
12. Choose your contact method.
This will take you to part three of the help wizard, where you’ll be able to choose how you want to contact Amazon. You can pick phone, email, or chat.
Phone
You’ll be able to talk to a representative on the phone. All you have to do is tell them that you want to close your account. If you like, you can also tell them why. (Bear in mind that the representative you talk to isn’t in control of Amazon policies, and probably doesn’t have the power to change anything within the company itself — be polite!)
A lot of people also don’t like to talk on the phone if they don’t have to. Fortunately, chat and email are options for figuring out how to delete Amazon account on mobile.

Chat

Choosing chat will open up a chat box with an Amazon representative. This is pretty much just like talking to them on the phone. Tell them you’d like to close your account, and, if you wish, tell them why.

If you’re not in a rush to close your account right this minute, and you don’t need help with anything else, an email is probably good enough. If you choose “Email,” you’ll be directed to a form that you can fill out and send to Amazon.
You don’t need to send a long, detailed Amazon account closed email. Just say you want to close your account. If you want, you can also say why. When you’re done, click “Send email.”
13. Wait.
Your account may not be closed immediately, especially if you chose to correspond with Amazon via email. It can take a few days, but you should receive an Amazon account closed email in return. The company’s customer service department will finish deleting your account for you. You’re finally all set!
Why is it so hard to close an Amazon account? Simple — Amazon is banking on people getting frustrated with the process and giving up. Someone who gives up on deleting their account is likely to end up returning to Amazon in the future. Even if they don’t, these abandoned accounts let Amazon inflate their number of active users to their shareholders.
